Sinochem International announced that its subsidiary, Yangnong Group, has become the first Chinese ECH producer to receive ISCC PLUS certification. The certification was granted by third-party authority SGS for epoxychloropropane produced via the bio-crude glycerol method.
The ISCC certification not only demonstrates the product’s green, low-carbon advantages, but is expected to reduce carbon tax costs for EU exports. This will effectively boost product sales and market share in the EU and other overseas markets.
This move also aligns with the company’s goals to expand sustainable advantages of ECH and advance towards a circular economy, assisting customers and the industry in embracing sustainable development.
